National Year of Reading 2026

September Story 2026

On 14.9.2026 we celebrated Julia Donaldson with a fantastic visit from the Book Bus as part of the National Year of Reading.

Many of our pupils and staff came dressed as their favourite book characters, helping to create a wonderful atmosphere of fun and excitement across the school. The Book Bus provided lots of opportunities for everyone to celebrate their love of reading and discover new stories.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. Well done to our Headteacher, who fully embraced the occasion by dressing up as Mouse from The Gruffalo and helping to showcase this wonderful event!
