Our Eco Warriors work together to promote environmentally friendly practices across the school, including recycling, reducing waste, saving water, conserving electricity, and caring for our school grounds. They help to raise awareness among their peers about the small changes everyone can make that have a positive impact on the environment.
Through hands-on projects and learning opportunities, pupils develop a deeper understanding of sustainability and the importance of responsible stewardship of our natural resources. By encouraging children to make sustainable choices both in school and at home, we are helping to create a greener, healthier future for our community.
Together, we are making Springfield School a more sustainable place to learn, grow and thrive, while developing responsible citizens who are committed to protecting our planet for future generations.
At Eco Club, we are learning about how to take care of our environment. Our focus revolves around three key priorities: recycling our rubbish, turning off the lights in school, and saving water wherever possible. Each member of our school shares the responsibility of striving towards these goals, emphasising the importance of collective effort. Within our school classes, we have appointed a monitor to assist and encourage everyone to remain committed to our Eco Club principles. By working together, we aim to foster a sustainable mindset and make a positive impact on our surroundings.
