Springfield Pounds
At Springfield school, we have ‘Springfield Pounds’—a motivational reward system designed to encourage our pupils to exemplify our key values; be happy, be kind, be great, be you! Children earn Springfield Pounds through acts of kindness, excellent behaviour, and great work. Once they have accumulated their rewards, they can visit the Springfield Shop, a delightful space filled with an array of items available for purchase, from charming small toys to larger, more exciting ones!
The items are priced differently, which not only reinforces positive behaviour among our pupils but also serves as a practical lesson in the value of money. This initiative supports financial literacy and helps children understand the importance of saving and spending wisely.
