Making a Difference Across Our Trust and Beyond

At Springfield, we are proud to share our expertise, innovation and effective practice with others, ensuring that the impact of our work extends far beyond our own school community. Through collaboration across our Trust, partnerships with local schools and contributions to county and national initiatives, we actively support the development of high-quality educational practice that benefits children and young people in a wide range of settings.

This page celebrates the projects, leadership, training and outreach work that showcase Springfield’s commitment to making a positive difference. By working together, sharing what works well and learning from others, we contribute to a culture of continuous improvement that reflects our Trust values, Everyone Belongs. Learns. Grows. and our school values, Be kind. Be happy. Be great. Through these partnerships and contributions, we help ensure that more pupils are empowered to belong, achieve and thrive, both within our Trust and beyond.

Working Together with Families: Local Collaboration, National Influence

At Springfield, we are committed to strengthening relationships with families by working in partnership with our local community and contributing to national developments in family engagement. We are excited to be collaborating with a cluster of local schools through the Staffordshire Children’s Partnership, sharing effective practice and exploring new ways to support children, young people and their families. Alongside this, we are proud to be working with Whole Education to help shape the Whole Education Family Partnership Network: Building Trust Between Schools and Families. Through these collaborations, we aim to deepen our understanding of what meaningful family partnership looks like and ensure that every family feels valued, heard and empowered as part of their child’s educational journey.

Trust Music and Arts Festival

We are thrilled to be preparing for our first Trust Music and Arts Festival, which will take place in November. This exciting project has been led by our Headteacher, Anna, with the support of colleagues from the Trust central team, and has brought together schools from across the Trust in a truly collaborative endeavour. The festival will provide children with the unique opportunity to perform in a large theatre setting, celebrating their talents, creativity and confidence in front of a wider audience.

The project reflects our shared commitment to providing memorable and enriching experiences for pupils while strengthening connections between our Trust schools. By working together to create opportunities on this scale, we are helping children to develop new skills, showcase their achievements and create lasting memories as they learn, grow and thrive.

Trust EYFS SEND Conference

Springfield is proud to have played a key role in the organisation and delivery of our Trust’s first EYFS SEND Conference, a highly successful event that brought together professionals to share expertise and strengthen inclusive practice for our youngest learners. The idea for the conference originated from our passionate EYFS teachers during Trust networking sessions, demonstrating the power of collaboration and innovation across our schools.

Our Headteacher, Anna, was involved in the development of the conference from the very beginning, helping to shape the event and ensure its success. She also contributed as a member of the expert panel, sharing insights and experience alongside other professionals.

The conference exemplified the strength of collaboration across our Trust, with ideas and expertise brought together from several schools, including Springfield, to create a valuable professional learning opportunity that will continue to benefit colleagues and pupils across the Trust and beyond.
