Summer 2025 projects

Our swimming pool has been enhanced with the addition of sensory lighting and music, creating a more engaging, calming and inclusive environment for our pupils. These improvements help to enrich the swimming experience, supporting wellbeing, confidence and enjoyment while enabling children to develop essential water safety and swimming skills in a welcoming and stimulating setting. Through these enhancements, we continue to invest in high-quality facilities that help every child to belong, achieve and thrive.

Forest School

Our Forest School area has been transformed to provide even greater opportunities for outdoor learning, exploration and creativity. Developments include a sustainable outdoor classroom powered by wind energy, dedicated den-building frames and an engaging mud kitchen, all designed to inspire curiosity, teamwork and problem-solving. These enhanced facilities enable pupils to connect with nature, develop practical life skills and learn through hands-on experiences, supporting our commitment to helping every child belong, achieve and thrive in a stimulating and inclusive environment.

Sensory Garden Development Project

Our sensory garden has been thoughtfully redesigned to create an engaging and inclusive outdoor space where pupils can explore, play and connect with one another. New additions include an outdoor theatre area for performance and storytelling, musical flower drums to encourage creativity and self-expression, a buddy bench to promote friendship and inclusion, a wooden bridge and sensory tunnel for exploration, and a role-play area to inspire imagination and communication. These exciting developments provide rich opportunities for sensory engagement, social interaction and outdoor learning, helping every child to build confidence, develop new skills and thrive in a welcoming environment.
