Our Trust: Strategy, Governance and School Improvement

Our Trust Strategy

As part of our Trust, we are proud to contribute to a shared vision that extends beyond our individual school. This year, the Trust Strategy, The Big Quest 3.0: HOPE, sets out our collective ambitions and priorities for the future. The strategy is shared with colleagues across all Trust schools and continues to evolve over time, ensuring that everyone feels involved, valued and connected to something bigger than their own setting. Through this collaborative approach, we strengthen our commitment to the Trust values of Everyone. Belongs. Learns. Grows.

Governance is provided through the Trust’s central leadership and governance structures, ensuring strong accountability, strategic direction and support for all schools. Each school is supported by a Local Advisory Committee (LAC), which meets regularly to review progress, evaluate priorities, celebrate successes and provide constructive challenge. In addition, the Trust’s Executive School Improvement Team works closely with school leaders to drive continuous improvement, share expertise and secure the best possible outcomes for pupils. Together, these structures help ensure that every child is supported to belong, achieve and thrive.

Our Trust Executive School Improvement Team

Our Trust Executive School Improvement Team works in partnership with schools to provide challenge, support and professional expertise that helps drive continuous improvement and the best possible outcomes for pupils. The infographics below provide an overview of this work, including the extensive networking groups that bring colleagues together from across the Trust to share knowledge, collaborate and learn from one another. Every school is represented within these networks, ensuring that expertise and effective practice are shared widely.

The second infographic explains the levels of support available to schools. Depending on need, schools may receive monitoring, targeted or intensive support, enabling resources and expertise to be directed where they will have the greatest impact. As Springfield moves towards a period when inspection is increasingly likely, the school is currently receiving targeted support, providing focused challenge and guidance to help sustain improvement and ensure that pupils continue to belong, achieve and thrive.
