Springfield School Rewards System
At Springfield School, we believe in celebrating the achievements and hard work of all our children. Our exciting rewards system is designed to motivate and encourage every child, ensuring that they feel valued and proud of their efforts. With a variety of rewards tailored to each classroom, children can accumulate Springfield Pounds that can be exchanged for special treats and prizes.
Every week, we hold a special assembly where we acknowledge children who have demonstrated exemplary behaviour aligned with our core values: Be Kind, Be Happy, Be Great, and Be You. During these assemblies, we present certificates to those who have excelled in various categories. Among these are the Proud Cloud awards, which recognise children who have risen above and beyond to support their classmates, and the Kindness awards, which honour those who consistently show compassion and understanding.
We also celebrate our Star of the Week, a title bestowed upon a student who has displayed outstanding dedication to their studies or contributed positively to the classroom environment. For those who are particularly exceptional, the Head Teacher’s award is a coveted recognition that signifies exemplary conduct and achievement.
Additionally, we take pride in our swimming programme, where children earn swimming certificates to acknowledge their progress in this essential life skill. We encourage children to share any external certificates they have earned in sports, arts, or other activities outside school, as we wish to celebrate all their accomplishments, both in and out of school.
One of the highlights of our rewards system is the “Superstars of the Month” initiative. Each month, we select outstanding children who have consistently demonstrated our school values and excelled in their schoolwork. These selected Superstars enjoy a special treat where they can spend time with me, the Head Teacher, engaging in games, enjoying delicious snacks, and sharing stories of their achievements.
